As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on secure, stable applicationsWrites high-quality production code using at least one programming languageDesigns, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of system implicationsApplies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to improve automation valueGathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to support decision-makingLearns and applies system processes and methodologies for secure, stable code and systemsAdds to team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExperience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesDemonstrable ability to code in one or more languagesExperience across the Software Development Life CycleExperience in Spark (Scala or Python), AWS EMR, Airflow, S3, Databricks, and ANSI SQLExposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with modern front-end technologiesExposure to cloud technologies
