As part of the Corporate Payment Services, Global Travel, Meetings & Events, and Enterprise Testing Tools IT teams, the Sr. Software Engineer will play a key role in designing and developing web applications, middleware solutions (including batch processes and APIs), and managing vended SaaS platforms.

The engineer will work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with business product management and fellow engineers to deliver innovative solutions that streamline and automate business processes.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain solutions using .NET Core/ASP.NET, C#, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
+ Serve as a technical liaison and subject matter expert, partnering with business stakeholders, clients, and internal technical teams to design, develop, and support software solutions that automate and simplify business processes, with a focus on code quality, security, as well as improving user experience.
+ Lead DevOps initiatives including infrastructure as code (IaC), automated deployments, monitoring, and incident response
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and UX to deliver high-quality software solutions
+ Provide comprehensive end-user technical support for software applications, including troubleshooting, issue triage, and collaborating with peers to resolve defects and enhance system reliability
+ Operate as an individual contributor delivering end-to-end software implementations, including configuration, customization, and integration of vended SaaS applications to ensure seamless interoperability and optimal performance
+ Work with business partners and technical teams to clarify objectives, document business and technical processes, and facilitate the delivery of robust software solutions throughout the project lifecycle
+ Collaborate in an Agile software development environment, working with business product owners, clients, vendors, and engineering peers to define project scope, establish development timelines, and drive successful delivery of software projects
+ Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement in software development practices and project outcomes
+ Leverage and incorporate AI-driven software solutions to address business challenges, drive innovation, and support the organization's strategic objectives
+ Stay current with emerging technologies and propose adoption wherever beneficial
+ Mentor and support junior software engineers by providing technical guidance, sharing best practices, and fostering professional growth through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 8+ years professional experience in software development, including expertise in object-oriented design, implementation of design patterns, advanced data structures, and test-driven development
+ Extensive experience with modern front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React
+ Demonstrated hands-on experience architecting and deploying solutions on the Azure cloud platform
+ Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs for scalable, distributed systems
+ Proven ability to implement AI-driven solutions to address business challenges, including utilizing AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity, accelerate software delivery, and improve code quality
+ Solid proficiency in relational database technologies, including Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and MySQL, with experience in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions for enterprise applications
+ Proven track record of delivering solutions within Agile/Scrum environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
+ Solid background in implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing automated code deployment processes
+ Advanced proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, C#, and Entity Framework for enterprise-grade application development
+ Deep expertise in DevOps tools and practices, including GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, to streamline development workflows and ensure code quality
+ Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor team members and drive technical excellence

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or equivalent certifications
+ Experience with SauceLabs and ALM testing solutions a plus
+ Proficiency in Python; developing AI/ML solutions
+ Exposure to security best practices and compliance standards
