Job Description
Role-specific Accountabilities:
Build software solutions enabling end-to-end investment lifecycle support including portfolio management and analysis activities, trade submission and execution, reporting and post-trade activities.
Work in partnership with CPP Investments’ professionalsDesign, integrate and implement working as a part of the team within a customer centric engineering team.
Contribute to the development of long-term system target state.Contribute to engineering excellence by proactively identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve process agility, delivery efficiency, and implement DevOps & agile development principles.Support innovation and promote Agile best practices through active team participation, knowledge sharing sessions, and maintenance of documentation on team wiki.Integrate your code with industry leading investment management platforms such as FIS Quantum.Acts inclusively with all colleagues, and sets inclusive environment with own teamCollaborates within and across Groups to facilitate effective execution and partnerships, also promotes culture of collaboration within own teamCritical thinking to deliver workstream/process/ program/project insight and recommendationsIntegrates organizational understanding into work by considering impact beyond own teamDrives workstream and process excellence with practicality and effectivenessDemonstrates resilience in the face of change and can effectively manage competing demandsQualifications
Minimum 4 Years of relevant work experienceUniversity degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferredFull Stack developer with expertise in Python, SQL and angularExperience in developing cloud-native solutions on AWSKnowledge of Test Automation and DevopsInterest in Investment Management and eagerness to contribute to the systems that support themProven attention to accuracy and detail, highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi- taskExceptional (written and verbal) communication skills and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a high performing culture, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines.Commitment to CPP Investment’ guiding principles of Integrity, Partnership and High Performance
