Should be hands-on and ready for coding.<br/><br/>Location : Gurgaon ( 50% mix of Work From Home and Work From Office )<br/><br/>Compensation : Competitive as per market and commensurate with candidate caliber and experience<br/><br/><b>Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : </b><br/><br/><b>Role Overview : </b><br/><br/>Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Software Engineering Lead to join their team and drive the continuous enhancement of their unique product - a patented cloud-<br/><br/>based platform that provides Early Warning and Predictive Analytic capabilities to financial institutions.

The ideal candidate will seamlessly play a dual role of individual contributor ( as a<br/><br/>coder ) as well as team mentor and manager, balancing delivery, people growth, and technical depth.

The candidate will lead a team of engineers working across Java ( Spring Boot ), React, and Python microservices.<br/><br/>This role requires strong expertise in Product development practices, deep hands-on experience with Java, React and Python, and a thorough understanding of IT security and<br/><br/>high volume computing architectures.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Lead engineering delivery for product features and releases.<br/><br/>- Manage and mentor the software engineering team (career discussions, 1 : 1s, hiring, onboarding).<br/><br/>- Contribute directly to codebase (~40%-50% time) on critical features and complex integrations.<br/><br/>- Drive code quality via reviews, architecture guidance, security guidance and knowledge-sharing.<br/><br/>- Ensure delivery predictability by coordinating with QA, Platform Engineering, and Data/ETL team.<br/><br/>- Balance SaaS and Managed SaaS deployment demands, working with DevOps/Platform team.<br/><br/>- Foster a strong engineering culture of ownership, learning, and collaboration.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- 8 - 12 years of software development experience with 2+ years in a lead role.<br/><br/>- Strong hands-on expertise in Java ( Spring Boot ) and React; exposure to Python microservices preferred.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud deployments ( AWS or equivalent ), CI/CD, and observability.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to manage hybrid teams ( remote + office ).<br/><br/>- Track record of balancing coding, mentoring, and people leadership.<br/><br/>- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Exposure to ML/LLM-driven microservices.<br/><br/>- Experience with CI/CD practices<br/><br/>- Experience in fintech/banking products.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of SaaS and client-VPC deployment patterns.<br/><br/>- Understanding of financial services domain, particularly lending analytics<br/><br/>- Engineering Graduate from a top-tier college<br/><br/><b>Why Join the Company ?
