<p><p><b>Description : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/><p>We are looking for a passionate and experienced Engineering Lead - Backend (Java) to join our fast-paced and rapidly growing technology team.
In this role, you'll lead a team of talented engineers and play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling distributed, cloud-native applications.
This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you'll balance people management with deep technical : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><br/><p>- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of backend engineers.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Design and develop scalable, high-performance, distributed systems using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring MVC.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Drive full-cycle software development : from architecture and design to coding, testing, </p><p>deployment, and monitoring.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability through best engineering practices and standards.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Solve complex technical and architectural challenges, ensuring long-term scalability and : </b></p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 1 year in a technical leadership role.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Strong programming skills in Java, with solid experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful API development.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience in designing and building cloud-native, distributed systems in high-</p><p>growth environments.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and software architecture.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a collaborative team environment.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Strong database knowledge : experience with MySQL (or other RDBMS) and MongoDB (or </p><p>other NoSQL DBs).</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated deployment pipelines.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working with microservice architecture.</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).</p><br/><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
