<p><p><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/><b>Position : Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer</b><br/><br/><b>Education Qualification : Any Graduate Minimum Years of Experience : 2+ Years</b><br/><br/><b>Key Skills : MS SQL Server</b><br/><br/><b>Type of Employment : Permanent</b><br/><br/><b>Location : Chennai & Ahmedabad </b><br/><br/><b>Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible to work with development team to develop, implement, and manage data base models for core product development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible to write SQL database views, tables, and stored procedures to support engineering product development.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible for designing and maintaining SSIS, T-SQL, and SQL jobs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible for developing and maintaining complex stored procedures for loading data into staging tables from OLTP, and other intermediary systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible for analysis, design specifications, development, implementation, and maintenance of DB.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible for designing partitioning of DB for Archive data.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible to ensure that the best practices and standards established for the use of tools like SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Excel Power Pivot/View/Map are incorporated in Data Analytics solutions design.<br/><br/></p><p>- Responsible for documenting complex processes, business requirements and specifications.<br/><br/><b>Requirements :</b><br/><br/><b>Technical Skills : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in database design, normalization, query design, performance tuning<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in writing complex Transact SQL code.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in MS SQL Server query tuning.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in writing stored procedures, functions, views and triggers.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Indexes, column store index, SQL server column storage, Query execution plan.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide authentication and authorizations for Database.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop best practices for database design and development activities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in database migration activities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
