<p><p><b>Software Lead Developer</b><br/><br/><b>Exp </b>: 8- 12 Years<br/><br/><b>Location : </b>Hyderabad<br/><br/></p><p><b>Job Description :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Role & Responsibilities Leadership & Mentorship :</b></p><p><br/>- Lead a team of ServiceNow developers, providing technical direction, code reviews, and mentorship to ensure high-quality, performant, and scalable solutions.<br/><br/>- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.<br/><br/><b>ServiceNow Platform Development :</b><br/><br/>- Design, develop, and implement complex ServiceNow solutions including custom applications, modules, workflows, and UI components using Flow designer, JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideForm, Jelly, Angular JS, and other relevant ServiceNow APIs and scripting languages.<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain robust, secure, and high-performing integrations with external systems using various methods (REST, SOAP, MID Server, IntegrationHub).<br/><br/>- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
Manage and execute technical tasks for platform upgrades.<br/><br/>- Platform knowledge on ITSM modules, CMDB, On-call, Virtual agent, Service Portal, CSM etc.<br/><br/>- Develop & configure ITAM with reconciliation, normalization & stock room.<br/><br/><b>Integrations :</b><br/><br/>- Lead the design and implementation of complex integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems (e.g., HRIS, CRM, monitoring tools, ITSM tools).<br/><br/>- Define integration strategies, data mapping, and error handling mechanisms.
Leverage IntegrationHub.<br/><br/>- Design authentication & error handling of the integrations.<br/><br/><b>Now Assist & AI/ML Integration :</b><br/><br/>- Explore, evaluate, and implement solutions leveraging ServiceNow Now Assist capabilities to enhance user experience, automate tasks, and improve efficiency.<br/><br/><b>Required Technical Skills & Experience :</b><br/><br/>- 9+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior technical role.<br/><br/>- Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform development :<br/><br/>1.
Flow designer, JavaScript, GlideRecord, GlideForm, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts.<br/><br/>2.
Service Portal development (Widgets, Pages, Themes, SCSS, AngularJS).<br/><br/>3.
ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP).<br/><br/>4.
Implementation knowledge in ITAM & SAM.<br/><br/>5.
Implementation knowledge in CSM.<br/><br/></p><p>Proven experience with complex integrations :<br/><br/>- Designing and implementing integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.<br/><br/>- Experience with various authentication methods (OAuth, Basic Auth, certificates).<br/><br/>- Implementation of integrations using Flow designer & Integration hub.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with ServiceNow Now Assist and AI/ML capabilities<br/><br/>- Understanding of Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Virtual Agent, and AI search functionalities.<br/><br/>- Experience in leveraging or implementing AI/ML-driven features within ServiceNow.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Certifications :</b><br/><br/>- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer Highly desirable.<br/><br/>- Multiple ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-GRC, CIS-Discovery, CIS-Service Mapping).<br/><br/>- Experience with other ServiceNow modules (ITSM, GRC, NowAssist)</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
