Software Senior Engineer ( Location - Bangalore, Hybrid)

Our Engineering team ensures that our next-generation software meets customer needs, is competitive and is of the highest quality.

Our Engineers understand the definition of done, the expected quality, and ensures that our software meets or exceeds end-user requirements.

We spend substantial time learning new technologies like LLM APIs like Claude, OData, flavors of Databases, Kafka and come out with robust Solutions and Designs.

Our Software Development procedures and practices comply with industry standards.

What you ll achieve

As a Software Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for Building various Connectors that incorporate Scalable design and programming Best Practices.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for making sure the developed Connector meets Business Goals and quality expectations.

You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on testing new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.

You will:

• Collaboratively design and implement enhancements for Boomi AI Connectors through Agile software development lifecycle
• Guide and participate in design, development, unit testing, code review and release
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables
• Investigate defects to identify the root cause and provide potential solution
• Mentor other Boomi engineers, including design collaboration and code reviews

Here s what we are looking for with this role:

Required Skills

• 6 - 8 years hands on experience on Java, Advanced Java, JUnit, CI/CD, Source Control Systems
• Good Communication Skills (Oral & Written)
• Good understanding of Programming Principles and Practices
• Experience debugging complex defects
• Knowledgeable about the developments happening in the world of Generative AI technologies, LLMs, AI Agents.
• Must be a quick learner and should keep pace with technologies with minimal training and on-the-job experience
• Experience in software development, including the use of some IDE with a solid understanding of object-oriented design concepts for delivering and maintaining a software product
• Experience with agile collaboration tools, such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL

Desirable Skills

• Experience in OOAD, SOLID Principles, Design Pattern
• Experience building Java applications
• Exposure to Integration Platform for example Mulesoft, Oracle Integration
• Exposure to multiple Databases for example, Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server
• Familiarity using Cloud Services such as AWS, Azure
• Experience using Message brokers such as Service Bus, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Kinesis, and Kafka.
• Experience using Devops tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Harness and other CI/CD tools

Education:

Bachelor/Masters in any Branch of Engineering or equivalent technical field
