THE PERSON: As a Software Systems Design Engineer, you will drive balanced, scalable, and automated solutions.
In this high visibility position, your software systems engineering expertise will be necessary towards product development, definition, and root cause resolution.
Preferred Skills & Expertise: Atleast 8 years of total experience and strong experience in Linux, graphics validation with Ubuntu yocto.
android Proficiency in OpenGL, Vulkan, Multimedia, with ubuntu, Yocto OS, and custom Linux & Android environments.
Hands-on with I/O drivers: I2C, UART, GPIO, SPI, SMBus.,SPI Familiarity with Ethernet protocols, Automotive features validation, and x86 architecture.
Hands-on with hypervisors such as Xen, KVM, or VMware ESXi. Familiarity with Audio ACP Validations Experienced in test development and triage workflows.
Comfortable with GitHub, SVN, and Perforce source control systems.
Clear, concise communication skills—able to interface effectively across technical teams.
Added advantage having FreeRTOS & QNX Environments Hands-on with Python Shell /AI/ML any programing skills Key Responsibilities: Validate and Lead graphics drivers across Multimedia, Graphics APIs,Audio, Power Management, I/O, Ethernet on Linux/Android/Yocto OS platforms.
Knowledge on hypervisors Execute and refine test plans based on program milestones.
Design and maintain comprehensive test cases ensuring functional and non-functional coverage.
Perform Memory leak, stress, and Soak testing using Bounding box methodologies.
Collaborate with development teams on defect lifecycle, providing clear, actionable bug reports.
Work alongside automation teams to identify and optimize automation opportunities.
Validate automotive-specific features and Ethernet interfaces.
Debug issues with scripting in Python or Shell, AI/ML Expert knowledge of X86 architecture 🎓 Academic Credentials: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
