<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, ETL jobs, and data migration activities across legacy and modern data platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Validate data ingestion, data transformation, and data integrity across Data Warehouse (DWH) and Data Lake environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and execute both manual and automated test cases to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand data flow, mappings, and transformation logic.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write complex SQL queries to validate large datasets across multiple sources and targets.<br/><br/></p><p>- Use tools and frameworks for automation testing of ETL and data-related workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure high-quality test coverage and documentation for all assigned projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect triaging.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide regular reports on test execution, defect status, and QA Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p>- 6+ years of total IT experience, with a strong focus on data testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven experience in Data Migration projects and Data Lake validation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid hands-on experience in ETL/DWH testing including data reconciliation, validation, and lineage tracking.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue) and/or Snowflake.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in SQL for data validation and test automation scripting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing in data environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages used for ETL validation is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced to Have :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Experience with tools like Apache Airflow, DBT, Informatica, Talend, or SSIS.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with data governance, data profiling, and data quality tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- ISTQB or similar QA certifications.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
