<p><p><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and delivery of custom solutions in large-scale SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ABAP development, architecture design, and integration across SAP modules and should be able to guide teams in delivering high-quality, scalable, and efficient technical solutions.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Own the technical architecture and design for SAP ABAP developments across multiple modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, HR, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Lead solution design workshops with functional consultants and business stakeholders.<br/><br/></p><p>- Define best practices, coding standards, and development guidelines for ABAP and related technologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical leadership in SAP S/4HANA projects (Custom CDS Views, AMDP, ABAP on HANA optimization, Fiori/UI5 integration).<br/><br/></p><p>- Review functional specifications and translate them into high-quality technical designs and developments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability of solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support integration with non-SAP systems (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, APIs).<br/><br/></p><p>- Guide and mentor offshore/onshore development teams.<br/><br/></p><p>- Drive code reviews, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with Basis, Security, and Functional teams for seamless solution delivery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide pre-sales support for proposals, RFPs, and solution presentations.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience:</b><br/><br/></p><p>- 12+ years of SAP technical experience with strong focus on ABAP, ABAP on HANA, and S/4HANA extensions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proven expertise in OO ABAP, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF objects).<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of ABAP on HANA features CDS Views, AMDP, Core Data Services, OData services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with Fiori/UI5 development and integration with ABAP back-end.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on expertise in workflow, ALE/IDoc, BAPI, BADI, User Exits, Enhancements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of integration points across SAP modules.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong experience in performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.<br/><br/><b>Nice to Have :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- SAP certification in ABAP on HANA / S/4HANA Extensions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), CAP, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Cloud Integration (CPI) and SAP API Management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Pre-sales, solutioning, and architectural governance experience.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
