<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/>Position : SQL Developer.<br/><br/>Location : Remote.<br/><br/>Duration : 6+ Months.<br/><br/>Shift timings : 3 pm -12 am IST.<br/><br/>Notice : Only immediate joiner/Serving notice with less than 30 days/ Notice is less than 20 days.<br/><br/><b>Job Description : </b><br/><br/>Primary responsibilities of the SQL Developer include supporting and writing database functions, stored procedures, triggers, and packages for Oracle and SQL Server.<br/><br/>The candidate will be in a Dev Ops role and will work closely with Business, DBA, ETL and Data Management teams providing analysis and support for complex Data related initiatives.<br/><br/>This individual will be responsible for evaluating business requirements and implementing the best solution following best practices from a database : </b><br/><br/>- Tune application SQL queries for performance optimization.<br/><br/>- Convert user stories into application logic; reports, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems.<br/><br/>- Ability to turn high-level requirements into a working solution through iterative development.<br/><br/>- Create acceptance criteria and validate work products developed.<br/><br/>- Develop, validate, and maintain solutions written in Oracle and SQL Server.<br/><br/>- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.<br/><br/>- Help Reporting developers solve data load, data quality issues.<br/><br/>- Analyze and convert business requirements to technical requirements, followed by design and implement the solutions.<br/><br/>- Provide production deployment and production support as needed.<br/><br/>- Validate data in the tables as appropriate.<br/><br/>- Validate the data quality for individual reports as based on business requirements.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 2+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development.<br/><br/>- 2+ years of SQL Server database development.<br/><br/>- 2+ years of SQL experience working in OLTP, Data Warehouse and Big Data databases.<br/><br/>- 2+ years with data analytics experience.<br/><br/>- Extensive background in writing complex queries.<br/><br/>- Extensive working knowledge of all aspects of Data Movement and Processing, including ETL, API, OLAP and best practices for data tracking.<br/><br/>- Strong attention to Detail.<br/><br/>- Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team.<br/><br/>- Good Communication skills.<br/><br/>- Self-Motivated.<br/><br/>- Works well in a team environment.<br/><br/>- Big Data Experience a plus (Hadoop, MongoDB, Exadata).<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
