<p>Job Description :</p><p><br/></p><p>Job Responsibilities :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain efficient database solutions using SQL Server, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), or other ETL tools.</p><p><br/>- Create and manage ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into databases or data warehouses.<br/><br/>- Develop stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers to support application development.<br/><br/>- Optimize database performance by tuning queries, indexes, and other database components.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other teams to ensure that business needs are met through data solutions.<br/><br/>- Create and schedule SSIS packages to automate data workflows.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, data integrity, and data quality issues.<br/><br/>- Ensure proper documentation of database architecture, ETL processes, and reporting requirements.<br/><br/>- Maintain data security and compliance standards, ensuring data privacy regulations are adhered to.<br/><br/>- Implement and maintain database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.<br/><br/>- Oracle PLSQL Development experience in Oracle SQL Performance Query Tuning<br/><br/>- Good understanding of Oracle Architecture<br/><br/>- Strong experience in writing Functions Procedures packages Function etc<br/><br/>- Strong experience in writing complex SQL Queries using Joins Hints indexes etc<br/><br/>- Should have worked on different file handling techniques SQL Loader UTL File External Tables etc<br/><br/>- Should be aware of Oracle 11g features<br/><br/>- Should have worked on Analytical functions Collections Bulk Data operation etc<br/><br/>- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.<br/><br/>- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.<br/><br/>- Prepare documentations and specifications.<br/><br/>- Profile server resource usage and optimize and tweak as necessary.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Translate business needs to technical specifications.<br/><br/>- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools).<br/><br/>- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy).<br/><br/>- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)<br/><br/>- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.<br/><br/>- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.<br/><br/>Skills and Qualifications:<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.<br/><br/>- Experience with SSIS or any other ETL tool (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Pentaho).<br/><br/>- Expertise in creating and optimizing ETL workflows, automating data loads, and transforming large datasets.<br/><br/>- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).<br/><br/>- Knowledge of data modeling and database design concepts.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.<br/><br/>- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex database issues.<br/><br/>- Understanding of version control systems and Agile development methodologies.<br/><br/>- Experience with cloud-based ETL tools or cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.) is a plus.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
