The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SQL development, database management, and a deep understanding of data structures and optimization techniques.<br/><br/>Responsibilities :<br/><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and applications.<br/><br/>- Write complex SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.<br/><br/>- Optimize SQL queries for performance improvements.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with application developers to integrate SQL databases with applications.<br/><br/>- Ensure data integrity and security in SQL databases.<br/><br/>- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.<br/><br/>- Perform database backups and recovery as needed.<br/><br/>- Writing T-SQL Queries using joins and Sub queries in MS SQL Server.<br/><br/>- T-SQL development skills to write complex queries involving multiple tables, Joins.<br/><br/>- Experience in Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data from Excel Flat file to MS SQL Server.<br/><br/>- Creating primary objects (tables, views, indexes)<br/><br/>- Generating various reports by querying from database as per need.<br/><br/>- Customer support for environmental issues and maintenance<br/><br/>- Data conversions from different sources<br/><br/>- Hands on Experience with SQL commands (DDL, DML & TCL etc) and SQL Scripts;<br/><br/>- Knowledge of creating packages, triggers, stored procedures Oracle Schema, Locks, SGA and materialized views;<br/><br/>- Hands on experience on Oracle types, User defined data types/ Arrays and Collections;<br/><br/>- Binding, Exception handling; Performance Tuning of queries using Explain Plan and other methods.<br/><br/>- Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements<br/><br/>- Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases<br/><br/>- Prepare documentations and specifications<br/><br/>- Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary<br/><br/>- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders<br/><br/>- Translate business needs to technical specifications<br/><br/>- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)<br/><br/>- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy)<br/><br/>- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)<br/><br/>- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting<br/><br/>Skills and Qualifications<br/><br/>- 5-15 years of experience in SQL development and database management.<br/><br/>- Proficient in SQL and experience with various database systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.<br/><br/>- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with database backup and recovery techniques.<br/><br/>- Ability to write efficient and effective stored procedures, triggers, and functions.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.<br/><br/>- Experience with version control systems and collaborative development tools.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
