and operates as TMUS Global Solutions.About the Role:The Senior Systems Reliability Engineer (SRE) ensures the stability, performance, and reliability of T-Mobile’s IT services and infrastructure.
This role combines software engineering and operations expertise to build and maintain highly available, scalable systems.
As a leader in Dev Ops and cloud reliability practices, this engineer supports continuous improvement of automation, deployment pipelines, observability, and incident management, while mentoring junior engineers and optimizing production workflows.The position plays a critical part in enabling software to be delivered faster, better, and more reliably in support of T-Mobile’s business and customer needs.What You will Do:Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops automation solutionsGuide incident response and improve system resiliency and performanceBuild monitoring tools, dashboards, and proactive alerting for non-production environmentsCreate and maintain infrastructure as code (Ia C) for scalable environmentsWork with containerization and microservices in cloud-native platformsMentor junior engineers and collaborate across teams on cloud and Dev Ops initiativesImprove software delivery processes through automation, cloud migration, and service orchestrationPerform other duties and technical projects as assignedWhat You will Bring: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field (master’s preferred)4-7 years of experience in systems reliability, Dev Ops, or cloud infrastructure engineeringExperience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Cloud BeesFamiliarity with infrastructure and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Hands-on knowledge of public and private cloud platformsExperience with application performance monitoring (APM) and log aggregation toolsProven experience working in Agile and Dev Ops environmentsMust Have Skills: API Testing -Postman, Karate or any other API Testing tool Automation testing- Cypress, Selenium, Pytest, Junit, Jira or any other automation toolMonitoring and Observability tool - App Dynamics, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry (OTel)Nice To Have:Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologiesUnderstanding of service-level objectives (SLOs), SLIs, and error budgetsExperience in cloud migration and cloud-native systems architectureBackground in performance, security, or availability testing practices
