What you'll do As a core member of our product security team, you will integrate security practices and tools into the entire Docusign Software Development Lifecycle (SDL), from initial planning to production and monitoring.

This role combines the principles of development, security, and operations to build and deploy secure, scalable, and reliable software at speed.

Additionally, you will support the rollout of cloud infrastructure to support core Product Security functions.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to Director, Product Security.

Responsibility Closely collaborate with partner DevOps teams to build and maintain robust and secure continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Optimally deploy security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA) within code automation pipelines Configure pipeline automation tasks to perform critical gating functions when security vulnerabilities or misconfigurations are detected Capture key logging, metrics, and telemetry from security tools for consumption by integrated data platforms Leverage IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) to automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructure to support product security engineering functions Create reusable IaC modules for consumption by partner engineering teams Implement Policy-as-Code frameworks to ensure all infrastructure and applications adhere to security policies Establish and maintain monitoring solutions to detect, analyze, and alert on availability and performance issues in product security tooling and related infrastructure Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and deployment guides for all components and their usage Develop and execute incident response plans related to availability and performance issues in respective pipeline tasks and infrastructure Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work.

Access to an office location is required.

(Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job.

What you bring Basic Strong scripting skills using languages like Python, Bash, or Powershell Experience integrating SAST, DAST, SCA, Secret Scanning tools, along with rule tuning/custom checks Proven experience in building a highly scalable DevSecOps capability Proven experience with multiple deployment automation platforms like Azure DevOps and Jenkins Strong experience with cloud resource deployments in a variety of cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) Deep knowledge of infrastructure as code platforms like Terraform Experience in automation pipeline performance optimization Experience defining, gathering, and presenting key performance metrics and alerts in real-time telemetry systems Excellent cross-functional communication skills BS/BA degree or equivalent in relevant technology and security experience 8+ years of experience in DevOps roles, with at least 3 in Security Preferred Experience implementing container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes to manage and scale applications consistently across different environments Experience implementing secret management solutions, such as HashiCorp Vault, to securely handle sensitive information like API keys and passwords Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
