Summary
We are looking for a  Senior Snowflake Developer  to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data warehouse solutions on the Snowflake platform.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Healthcare Quality Measure and Reporting software.
• Analyze and tune performance of stored procedures.
• Analyze business requirements and specifications to determine an optimal
development strategy and timeline.
• Participate in Industry Certification activities, particularly annual NCQA HEDIS
certification.
• Provide Quality Measures assistance to Customer Support and Project
Management.
• Provide development assistance to DevOps and QA in cases of job failures or
errors.
• Deploy Healthcare Quality Measure Software.
• Attend Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on
assigned project.
Experience & Skills Required:
3–6 years  of experience in  data engineering  or  data warehouse development , with at least  2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake .
Strong expertise in  SQL  and  Snowflake-specific features  (e.g., Virtual Warehouses, Time Travel, Streams, Tasks).
Expert-level  SQL programming  with a focus on  complex query writing  and  stored procedure development .
Proven experience in  query and performance optimization  within Snowflake or similar MPP databases.
Solid understanding of  data modeling techniques  — Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and dimensional modeling.
Experience working with  cloud ecosystems  (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating with Snowflake.
Proficiency in  Python  or  SQL scripting  for automation and data transformation is preferred.
Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
Working experience with HL7 and healthcare interfaces
Working experience with healthcare claims a plus.
Exposure to C# / .NET a plus.
