Staff Test Development Engineer
ADI’s Automotive Wireless Battery Monitoring Systems (wBMS) team in Bangalore works on building Wireless Battery Management Systems products for worldwide automotive customers.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our team.
You will have an opportunity to work directly with cross functional team from product definition through silicon & system development until production release and post-production support.
Key Responsibilities
Work as part of the development team establishing hardware and software test capability on new designs of high performance digital, mixed-signal and RF SOC’sDisplay technical innovation in test development work on new products to improve test efficiency and test development cycle time ensuring success in fast-growing marketsPlay a key role in DFT/BIST definition & development, through direct involvement with Design early in the New Product Development to improve testability & Full Factory CostDevelop ATE test hardware and software for Final Test and Wafer Probe, understanding the problems/limitations and providing solutions for the sameAnalyze tester data to debug and optimize the test solution and set parametric test limits for production using statistical methodsWork with Reliability on device qualificationWork with manufacturing to release robust, multi-site, high-performance, low-cost test solutions and sustaining released solutionsProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing across the test development teamCollaborate with global teams to align test strategies and share best practices across sitesDrive continuous improvement in test methodologies and infrastructure to support evolving product requirements and manufacturing capabilitiesQualifications and other requirements
Hold a graduate degree in electrical or Electronics engineering, Masters will be a plus, with 7 to 15 years of relevant experienceKnowledgeable in Digital, Analog, and Mixed signal IC test methodsGood hands-on experience on ATE, experience on Teradyne Ultraflex is preferredExperience in performing test calibration and knowledge of best practices used in test for coding and hardware design provide an added advantageExperience in developing test hardware by creating schematic and overseeing layoutKnowledge and experience in industry standard best practices for test product development and mass production release processGood analytical skills and strong decision makingPositive attitude and proactive / self-motivated / willing to accept responsibilityGood team player and ability to work with teams at different sitesPossess strong interpersonal and communication skillsJob Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the timeShift Type: 1st Shift/Days
