What You’ll Do
Architect & Build: Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services in Go and Python that power Stack Guardian’s orchestration engine.
Design for Scale & Reliability: Define resilient microservice architectures, state management, and secure APIs while ensuring observability and system performance.
Collaborate & Deliver: Work closely with the founding team, Product, and Dev Ops to ship impactful features iteratively across multi-cloud environments.
Mentor & Uplift: Guide engineers through code reviews, architectural discussions, and best practices to cultivate a strong engineering culture.
Optimize & Automate: Troubleshoot complex issues, improve efficiency, and enhance internal automation and developer tooling to streamline workflows.
Who We’re Looking For
Experience: 5+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3 years building production-grade systems in Go or Python.
Cloud & Infrastructure Savvy: Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code workflows (Terraform, CDK, or similar).
Database Expertise: Strong experience with Postgre SQL and No SQL systems; familiarity with Click House , Kafka , or event-driven data processing is a plus.
Dev Ops Fluency: Comfortable working in containerized environments ( Docker , Kubernetes ) and CI/CD pipelines.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong debugging, performance optimization, and system reliability instincts.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence architecture and roadmap discussions.
Bonus Points: Experience in infrastructure automation, policy engines, or AI/ML integrations within developer platforms.
