**Minimum qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience with software development.
+ 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products.
+ 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

**Preferred qualifications:**

+ Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
+ 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
+ 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role with leading project teams and setting technical direction.
+ 3 years of experience with working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
+ Experience in building and developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
+ Experience in developing accessible technologies and working in the networking domain.

Google Enterprise Network (GEN) is responsible for managing and scaling the network while ensuring that the team builds it with the latest technologies.

In this role, you will lead a team of Software Engineers responsible for the systems that automate the management of the network.

**Responsibilities**

+ Write and test product or system development code.
+ Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on available technologies.
+ Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style, guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
+ Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
+ Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
