<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Manual Tester with Automation<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Remote & Bangalore after 6 months<br/><br/><b>Job Type : </b> Full-time<br/><br/><b>Experience Level : </b> 4+ years</p><br/><p><i><b>Wealth Management domain is mandatory</b></i></p><br/><p><b>Job Summary : </b><br/><br/></p><p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team, with a primary focus on Manual Testing and a secondary focus on Automation Testing.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Wealth Management domain, experience working with complex financial applications, and a passion for ensuring product quality.<br/><br/></p><p>You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing test cases, executing manual tests, and contributing to the automation framework and scripts where required.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b></p><br/><p><b>Manual Testing (Primary Responsibility) : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Understand business requirements and functional specifications in the wealth management domain (portfolio management, asset allocation, trading, client onboarding, etc.).<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, and system testing of web and mobile-based wealth management applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Validate data consistency and accuracy across frontend, backend, and reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to clarify requirements and improve quality.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform exploratory and ad-hoc testing to uncover potential issues.</p><br/><p><b>Automation Testing (Secondary Responsibility) : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts (Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent).<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to building automation for critical regression scenarios.<br/><br/></p><p>- Execute automated test cases and analyze test results.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to integrate automated tests into the pipeline.<br/><br/></p><p>- Raise automation coverage gradually for high-impact areas.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- 3+ years of experience in QA Testing with a strong focus on manual testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services domain is mandatory.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with SQL for backend data validation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Good understanding of automation concepts; hands-on with tools like Selenium, TestNG, Java/Python, or Cypress is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.</p><br/><p><b>Preferred Qualifications : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of wealth management platforms like Charles River, Avaloq, Temenos, or similar is a strong advantage.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience in testing client portals, advisory platforms, financial dashboards, risk and compliance tools.</p><br/><p><b>Educational Qualification : </b>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
