<p><p><b>Experience Level :</b> Mid to Senior Level (5- 10 years).</p><br/><p><b>Job Summary :</b></p><br/><p>We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development.</p><br/><p>The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining custom SAP programs and enhancements.</p><br/><p>The consultant will collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.</p><br/><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><br/><p>- Design, develop, test, and deploy ABAP programs in various SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI, HCM, etc.)</p><br/><p>- Work on Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV), Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (SmartForms, Adobe Forms, SAPscript).</p><br/><p>- Develop and maintain custom objects using ABAP Objects (OOABAP).</p><br/><p>- Implement User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Points.</p><br/><p>- Integrate with SAP and non-SAP systems via IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.</p><br/><p>- Optimize existing code and improve performance of custom programs.</p><br/><p>- Support data migration activities using BDC, LSMW, or custom tools.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate with functional consultants and end users to translate business requirements into technical solutions.</p><br/><p>- Participate in technical design and code reviews.</p><br/><p>- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.</p><br/><p>- Document technical specifications and provide end-user training as needed.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><br/><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</p><br/><p>- 5- 10 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.</p><br/><p>- Strong knowledge of ABAP Workbench tools and debugging techniques.</p><br/><p>- Good understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, or HCM.</p><br/><p>- Experience with OData, CDS Views, and SAP Fiori integration is a plus.</p><br/><p>- Hands-on experience with performance tuning and code optimization.</p><br/><p>- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.</p><br/><p>- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.</p><br/><p><b>Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :</b></p><br/><p>- Experience with S/4HANA and ABAP for HANA.</p><br/><p>- Knowledge of SAP BTP, RAP, and CAP models.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.</p><br/><p>- Experience in SAP Cloud Integration or PI/PO.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
