<p><p><b>Key Responsibilities :</b> <br/><br/>- Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling) to simulate real-world scenarios and measure system performance, staying current with emerging tools and technologies in the performance testing space.<br/><br/>- Designing comprehensive performance test scripts based on defined NFR<br/><br/>- Conduct thorough performance test activities and report the results<br/><br/>- Work closely with development and operations teams to Identifying key performance bottlenecks<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot issues in QA, Staging, Pre-production and/or Production environments.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to integrate performance testing into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, providing guidance and support to team members on performance testing best practices.<br/><br/>- Analyze the CPU Utilization, Memory usage, Network usage, Garbage Collection to verify the performance of the applications.<br/><br/>- Generate performance graphs, session reports, and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications :</b> <br/><br/>- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.<br/><br/>- 4+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.<br/><br/>- Strong experience with one or more performance testing tools : JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, etc.<br/><br/>- Good understanding of web and API testing, protocols (HTTP, REST, SOAP), and database performance tuning.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with APM tools like AppDynamics, DataDog, Honeycomb, or New Relic.<br/><br/>- Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and basic knowledge of version control (Git).<br/><br/>- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and understanding of SDLC/STLC.<br/><br/>- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br/><br/>- Exposure to frontend performance testing for web/mobile is a plus<br/><br/>- Experience with chaos engineering or resiliency testing frameworks is a plus<br/><br/>- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or Groovy for test automation or custom monitoring is a plus<br/><br/>- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Agile development experience</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
