<p></p><p>T-SQL / SQL Developer</p><p> </p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and optimize T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions to support business logic and reporting needs.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze large data sets.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Perform performance tuning of queries, stored procedures, and indexes to ensure optimal database performance.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with application developers and data analysts to understand data requirements and deliver reliable solutions.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and implement ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or equivalent tools.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Work on database normalization, indexing strategies, and data integrity enforcement.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Assist in data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Monitor and maintain database performance, capacity, and availability.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain technical documentation including data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and process flows.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data inconsistencies, performance bottlenecks, and failed processes.</p><p><br/></p><p>Required Skills and Qualifications : </p><p><br/></p><p>- 6-8 years of experience in SQL Server development and T-SQL scripting.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Deep expertise in writing efficient stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of relational database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in query performance tuning and troubleshooting.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proficiency with SQL Server tools such as SSMS, Profiler, Execution Plans, etc.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for ETL development.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with data security, backup, and recovery strategies.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience working in Agile/Scrum Qualifications : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience with Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting tools is a plus.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS) is an advantage.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control (e.g., Git).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Exposure to big data platforms or NoSQL databases is a bonus.</p><p><br/></p><p>Education : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.</p><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
