<p><p><b>Job Title :</b> Tanium Administrator / Engineer.<br/><br/></p><p><b>Location </b>: Pune.<br/><br/></p><p><b>Notice Period :</b> Immediate.<br/><br/><b>Job Summary :</b></p><p> <b><br/></b>We are seeking an experienced IT professional to manage and optimize the Tanium platform across a large enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in endpoint management, security compliance, and automation, with hands-on experience administering multiple Tanium modules.
This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant IT operations.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p> <b><br/></b>- Administer and configure Tanium modules such as Patch, Deploy, Inventory, Comply, Connect, and Discover.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitor system health, performance, and compliance metrics via the Tanium Console.<br/><br/></p><p>- Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity and client health issues across large environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop and maintain custom sensors, packages, dashboards, and reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Automate operational tasks using scripting languages ( PowerShell, Bash, Python ).<br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate Tanium with enterprise tools like SIEM, ITSM , and other IT/security platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support onboarding of new endpoints and maintain infrastructure documentation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external standards ( CIS, NIST ).<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process and tool improvement initiatives.<br/><br/><b>Required Qualifications :</b></p><p> <b><br/></b>- 7-10 years of experience in IT operations, endpoint management, or security management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in scripting languages ( PowerShell , Bash ).<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with endpoint protection, patching, and software deployment tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical , problem-solving , and communication skills.<br/><br/><b>Preferred Qualifications :</b></p><p> <b><br/></b>- Hands-on experience managing Tanium production environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to SCCM , RHEL Satellite , or similar endpoint management tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as CIS and NIST.<br/><br/></p><p>- Tanium Fundamentals or Tanium Certified Operator certification.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
