Urgent! Tarana Wireless - Network Software Engineer - TCP/IP Position in Pune - TARANA WIRELESS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED
<p><p><b>Job Responsibilities : </b></p><p><br/>- Designing and implementing network services for various aspects point-to-multipoint wireless access systems such as authentication, encryption, QoS, packet forwarding <br/><br/>- Advanced packet forwarding, routing, bridging, switching, VLANs, ethernet services, ethernet OA&M<br/><br/>- Designing services with considerations for scalability, decentralized management, resilience, and interoperability with customer networks.<br/><br/>- Implementing device management - configuration, software upgrades, CLI, web GUI etc<br/><br/>- Building support for power on self-tests, network fault diagnostics, event logging, statistics collection and fault isolation/analysis<br/><br/>- Implementing scalable network/cloud management and provisioning frameworks<br/><br/>- Previous experience in embedded software development for carrier and/or enterprise product telecom is a plus.</p><p><b>Required Skills and Experience : </b><br/><br/>- BS in Computer Science/Engineering with 5 - 10 years of relevant experience <br/><br/>- Advanced knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP), protocols, Internet architecture<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of UNIX-style operating systems (IPC, multi-threading etc)<br/><br/>- Experience in socket, network, and systems programming in C/C++<br/><br/>- L2/L3 packet processing and integration with hardware <br/><br/>- Strong and proven capabilities in debugging and troubleshooting on UNIX-style operating systems<br/><br/>- Strong data engineering/analysis/science experience is a major plus<br/><br/>- Focus on customer excellence using data-driven approach and latest tools<br/><br/>- Strong skills with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and web development technologies are a plus<br/><br/>- Experience with version control systems, collaboration tools (wikis, ticket systems)<br/><br/>- Key driver for quality and innovation<br/><br/>- Technical leadership experience is a major plus<br/><br/>- Expertise in at least one of the following areas : <br/><br/>- Network/cloud management systems and systems (SNMP, Yang Models, NetConf, LDAP, HTTP, OpenFlow, TR-69)<br/><br/>- Advanced authentication, security, encapsulation and tunnelling technologies (IPSec, 802.1x etc)<br/><br/>- MAC and network-layer implementation of 802.11, WiMax, LTE or other OFDM standards.</p><p>Join Tarana and help shape the future of wireless connectivity.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>About Us :</b><br/><br/>LTaranas mission is to accelerate the deployment of fast, affordable internet access around the world.<br/><br/> Through a decade of R&D and more than $400M of investment, the Tarana team has created a unique next-generation fixed wireless access (ngFWA) technology instantiated in its first commercial platform, Gigabit 1 (G1).<br/><br/> It delivers a game-changing advance in broadband economics in both mainstream and underserved markets, using either licensed or unlicensed spectrum.<br/><br/> G1 started production in mid-2021 and has since been embraced by more than 250 service providers in 19 countries and 41 US states.<br/><br/>Tarana is headquartered in Milpitas, California, with additional research and development in Pune, India.<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
