<p><p><b>About the Role : </b><br/><br/> We are looking for a skilled and motivated SDET 2 (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our team in Pune.<br/><br/> This is not a traditional testing role we are seeking a strong developer with a testing mindset, preferably with experience in both Java and Go (Golang).<br/><br/> If you are passionate about building test frameworks, automating end-to-end scenarios, and working closely with development teams to ensure quality at every stage, this role is for you.<br/><br/> Even if you are proficient in either Java or Go, we are open to candidates who demonstrate a strong learning attitude and a desire to expand their skill set.</p><p><br/></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/> - Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and tools using Java and/or Go.<br/><br/> - Develop and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito for Java-based services.<br/><br/> - Collaborate with developers to understand system architecture and develop test strategies.<br/><br/> - Build automated tests for APIs, backend services, and integrations.<br/><br/> - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient test code that integrates into a CI/CD pipeline.<br/><br/> - Identify test coverage gaps and work towards achieving comprehensive coverage.<br/><br/> - Troubleshoot issues and work across teams to resolve quality concerns.<br/><br/> - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and test automation Skills & Qualifications : </b><br/><br/> - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development and test automation.<br/><br/> - Strong programming skills in Java and/or Go (Golang).<br/><br/> - Proficiency in writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.<br/><br/> - Solid understanding of software testing principles, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.<br/><br/> - Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.<br/><br/> - Good understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend to Have : </b></p><p><br/> - Experience with performance or security testing tools.</p><br/> - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.<br/><br/> - Exposure to containerized environments such as Docker and Were Looking For : </b><br/><br/> - A developer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills.<br/><br/> - Someone who takes ownership of quality, not just testing.<br/><br/> - Willingness to learn new languages/technologies we value adaptability.<br/><br/> - Strong communication and collaboration skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
