<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/><b>Job Title : </b> Technical Business Analyst<br/><br/><b>Position Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong proficiency in SQL and BigQuery to join our Healthcare Analytics team.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, analyze complex datasets, and support project execution in an Agile environment.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements aligned with business goals.<br/><br/>- Develop comprehensive artifacts such as user stories, functional requirement documents (FRDs), and acceptance criteria.<br/><br/>- Act as a proxy Product Owner within Agile teams to facilitate requirement discussions and sprint activities.<br/><br/>- Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure shared understanding and smooth project delivery.<br/><br/>- Use SQL and BigQuery to perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.<br/><br/>- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating results, and coordinating user sign-off.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with QA Analysts to create test cases based on business requirements and ensure completeness of validation.<br/><br/>- Organize and facilitate UAT sessions and user training post-implementation.<br/><br/>- Maintain project documentation including status updates, requirement traceability, release notes, and roadmaps.<br/><br/>- Ensure all deliverables reflect USTs core values : Humility, Humanity, and Integrity and adhere to compliance standards.<br/><br/><b>Primary Skills : </b><br/><br/>- SQL Expertise Ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex queries for validation and analytics.<br/><br/>- Google BigQuery Hands-on experience with large-scale data analysis, report generation, and dashboard integration.<br/><br/>- Strong experience working as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in data-driven environments.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of healthcare data systems especially claims, provider, and member data.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in preparing high-quality documentation : FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release notes.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ability to function as a liaison across business and technical teams.<br/><br/><b>Secondary Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Exposure to data migration or data transformation projects.<br/><br/>- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.<br/><br/>- Experience coordinating UAT and conducting user training sessions.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and Visio.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools.<br/><br/>- Experience working with source-to-target mappings and data lineage documentation.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance aspects in the healthcare industry.<br/><br/><b>Work Schedule & Location : </b><br/><br/>- Shift : Night shift (4 : 00 PM 1 : 00 AM IST)<br/><br/>- Mode : In-office, 5 days a week<br/><br/>- Location : Trivandrum (Candidate must be ready to relocate)<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
