<p><p><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead (Automation) to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and end-to-end test automation, along with proven leadership in guiding automation teams.
</p><p><br/></p><p>This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in a global delivery environment to ensure high-quality product releases.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Lead automation initiatives, including framework development, maintenance, and enhancement.<br/><br/>- Analyze user stories, perform design analysis, and create robust API test scenarios.<br/><br/>- Develop and execute automation test scripts using Java, JavaScript, RestAssured, and related tools.<br/><br/>- Validate APIs, integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure seamless execution.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions.<br/><br/>- Ensure adherence to Agile and DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.<br/><br/>- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and support to junior automation engineers.<br/><br/>- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to continuously improve automation processes.<br/><br/>- Monitor test coverage, identify gaps, and suggest improvements for quality assurance.<br/><br/>- Work in a diverse stakeholder environment, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams.<br/><br/>- Support global delivery projects and ensure adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Qualifications :</b><br/><br/>- Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, RestAssured, and API automation frameworks.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and best practices.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, etc.).<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with global teams.<br/><br/>- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and handle multiple stakeholders.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have :</b><br/><br/>- Background in Telecom or Cable domain.<br/><br/>- Exposure to UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypr</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
