Your Impact:
As a Java/J2EE Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect solutions, and deliver robust software that drives business success.
Your expertise in Java technologies, databases, and system integration will play a key role in building secure, efficient, and resilient platforms.
Your Role Will Include:
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, and implement scalable, cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, React.js and Azure Cloud.
- Architect microservices-based systems with a focus on performance, resilience, and maintainability.
- Establish coding, architecture, and design standards for engineering teams.
2.Full-Stack Development
- Guide development of frontend applications in React.js and backend services in Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, and Python.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations (Kafka, messaging systems).
- Ensure seamless interaction between frontend, backend, and cloud services.
3.Cloud & DevOps Enablement
- Lead deployment and scaling of applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with Docker containers.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Drive adoption of cloud-native services (Azure Storage, Redis Cache, PostgreSQL, Event Hub/Confluent Kafka).

Database & System Design
- Design and optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and ensure high availability.
- Implement caching strategies and performance optimizations for real-time and high-traffic systems.
5.Quality & Security
- Enforce security best practices across application layers to mitigate risks (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF).
- Define testing strategies (unit, integration, performance) and drive test automation.
- Conduct code reviews, mentoring, and technical guidance for engineering teams.
6.Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with product managers, QA, DevOps, and engineering leads to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Act as a technical advisor for strategic initiatives, ensuring technology alignment with business goals.
- Document architecture decisions, design patterns, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on software development, with 10+ years in architecture/technical leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, React.js, Azure Cloud Native, Docker & AKS.
- Deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and API design.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure Cloud Services.
- Proven experience in CI/CD automation with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Strong database expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Kafka/Confluent Cloud, Redis Cache, GIS services, and cloud-native integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
