<p><b>Role and responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>This position is a Tech leadership role.
Working as part of a team you would be responsible for :<br/><br/>- Defining and enforcing the release and build management processes and pattern.<br/><br/>- Design and deployment in Agile DevOps environment.<br/><br/>- Work on Oracle cloud and On-prem cloud migration & automation projects<br/><br/>- Manage and maintain Kubernetes nodes and cluster.<br/><br/>- Owning best practices, implementation of quality standards, PR & code reviews<br/><br/>- Working in collaboration with engineers & architects in US<br/><br/>- Building up environments independently to test assigned work<br/><br/>- Experience with implementing "infrastructure as code", pipeline as code and "security as code" to enable continuous integration and delivery.<br/><br/>- Experience in developing POCs and participate in customer demonstrations.<br/><br/>- Presenting the results and outcomes to various stakeholders forums.<br/><br/>- Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.<br/><br/>- Engage and participate on an Agile team of a world-class software developers.<br/><br/>- Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments.<br/><br/>- Effectively communicate with team members, project managers and clients, as required.<br/><br/><b>Technical skills requirements : </b><br/><br/>The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in :<br/><br/>- 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years of strong experience in DevOps.<br/><br/>- Experience with CI/CD pipeline with detailed understanding of Git, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Terraform, Chef and Ansible.<br/><br/>- Hands on experience in automating the agile application lifecycle including provision, build, test, harden, deploy activities.<br/><br/>- Experience in working with Oracle OCI cloud.<br/><br/>- Hands on experience with scripting language like pearl, shell and Python<br/><br/>- Knowledge and experience with building production grade solutions using Cloud services such as EC2, ECS, ELB, Route53, Cloudwatch, MultiAZ, VPC, IAM, WAF, Cognito etc.<br/><br/>- Experience in creating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in both cloud and on-premises setup.<br/><br/>- Automation and Deployment tools like Terraform/ Chef / Ansible / Puppet<br/><br/>- Experience in implementing and managing monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager etc.<br/><br/>- Experience in implementing and managing logging tools like ElasticSearch, Logstash, Fluent-bit, Kibana etc.<br/><br/>- Experience with Shell scripting, Python, Powershell etc.<br/><br/>- Experience in setting up production grade DevOps process for multiple environment setup (Dev, QA, UAT, Stage, Prod etc.)<br/><br/>- Experience in building CI/CD pipeline for a Micro Services based SaaS application.<br/><br/>- Experience in build tools like Ant / Maven / Gradle.<br/><br/>- Experience in binary Repository tools like Artifactory / Nexus.<br/><br/>- Experience and expertise in setting up code analysis tools like SonarQube / Checkstyle /PMD / Findbugs.<br/><br/>- Strong familiarity with any Linux operating system like Ubuntu / CentOS etc.<br/><br/>- Strong computer science fundamentals, and algorithms.<br/><br/>- Test Driven Development (TDD) mindset and orientation of 100% test automation.<br/><br/><b>Nice-to-have skills : </b><br/><br/>- Experience in working with any NOSQL database e.g. MongoDB / Cassandra.<br/><br/>- Experience in working with Kafka, Zookeeper etc will be good advantage.<br/><br/>- Knowledge and expertise on Python and Python Web, Django<br/><br/><b>Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- 8+ years of work experience in systems or application DevOps and Release management<br/><br/>- 5 + years of team management experience.<br/><br/>- B.Tech., M.Tech.
