                Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly organized and technically strong
Technical Program Manager
to lead and deliver complex cross-functional technical programs.
The TPM will coordinate between engineering, product, operations, and other stakeholders, ensure alignment on objectives, manage risks, and drive schedules.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, communication skills, and technical acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Define, manage, and own end-to-end program roadmaps, milestones, and deliverables.
Lead project planning: scope definitions, schedules, resource allocation, and budgeting.
Coordinate multiple teams (engineering, QA, product, UX, operations) to ensure on-time delivery with quality.
Identify program risks/roadblocks early; propose and execute mitigation strategies.
Maintain clear and frequent communication about program status, issues, and decisions with stakeholders—including senior leadership.
Track program metrics & KPIs; monitor performance vs plan and course-correct as needed.
Ensure alignment of technical requirements with business goals; work with architects/engineering leads to translate technical specifications into actionable work.
Manage dependencies between projects / initiatives; ensure proper integration and handoffs.
Oversee release planning, launch activities, and post-launch retrospective.
Mentor junior program leads / project managers; foster best practices and process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
Advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience managing technical programs / projects.
Proven track record of delivering large/complex projects on time.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban), release management, and technical architecture.
Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills—able to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical audiences.
Proficient in program management tools (e.g. Jira, Asana, MS Project, or equivalents).
Strong analytical, problem solving, and risk management skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple programs simultaneously.
Comfort with ambiguity; able to adapt to changing requirements and business goals.
Leadership skills—experience mentoring others and influencing without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) or infrastructure projects.
Exposure to automation, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and modern engineering tools & practices.
Experience with cross-geography / distributed teams.
Certification in project / program management (PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar).
Familiarity with monitoring tools, analytics dashboards, or BI tools to measure program health.
