We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Manager {Software Development (Application)} to lead the charge on this mission.

The ideal candidate will have big ideas and strategies that foster an environment of collaboration and creativity.

This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and real-world experience distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs.

Most importantly, you will be integral to helping us build better products that people love to use.

You will have direct involvement in shaping how we develop custom solutions/integrations as well as establishing thought leadership within Autodesk and beyond.

You will play an active role in defining consulting strategies which maximize a customer’s return on investment and accelerate adoption with current and future Autodesk solutions.

**Location** : Bengaluru, IN (Hybrid)

**Responsibilities**

+ Deliver customized and configured solutions on top of Autodesk core products in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) or Manufacturing (MFG) domain

+ Oversee the development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, documentation and support of high quality, reliable applications to meet the business needs

+ Collaborate with the business toidentifynew business requirements and lead the technology team to deliver those requirements

+ Maintain a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of consulting solutions and insights into industry best practices, trends, and gaps

+ Participate and provide thought leadership in global cohort on sharing best practices for custom solution development and delivery of technical consulting services

+ Bachelors/Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

+ Extensive experience with application development using the latest technology stack for a service-oriented architecture and deep understanding of data models with a view on application of these technologies

+ Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail with ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

+ Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and negotiations skills

+ Highly efficient in defining and meeting SLAsin order tosatisfy and meet aggressive project timelines, and critical spontaneous requests

+ Excellent communication skills; verbal and written; articulate; must be able to communicate effectively with business executives

+ Must be skilled at Project Risk Management (Identification, Tracking, prevention / handling)

People Leadership

+ Leads and manages a team of Developers (Front End, Backend), QA & Automation Developer

+ Manages measurable criteria for success and toassistin building organizational alignment

+ Creates andmaintainstaffing plan to support the current and future work demands and project deliverables

Results Leadership

+ Oversees strategic roadmap with Global Delivery Hub to ensure the successful and broad adoption of Autodesk solutions

+ Builds business plans in collaboration with senior management to align customer and Autodesk objectives

+ Ensures the team delivers services to customers

+ Proactively manage/build staffing plans with Consulting Delivery leadership to meet team and individualutilizationtarget

+ Help prepare, review, and manage team delivered outputs to the customer

Thought Leadership

+ Enables team toestablishand maintain excellent collaboration with the wider Enterprise Customer Success

+ Encourages the team to be innovative

Technical Leadership

+ Maintain a competent level of technicalexpertiseto work effectively with team members and the broader Autodesk technical community

+ Keep abreast of technology industry trends, solutions,standardsand methodologies

+ Maintain awareness of relevant development efforts in other organizations within Autodesk.

Calibrate project plans and execution where appropriate

+ Proactively engage with customers and Autodesk stakeholders to stay on top of project requirements

+ Identifypotential new product solutions that the market will embrace

+ Determine/champion use of common/inner source components vs.

building duplicate functionality

Performance Management

+ Manage andmonitorteam’s performance to ensure successful project completion according to agree upon goals by fostering effective communications with team members for status updates and issue reporting

+ Ensure that team members perform to the highest level of quality and professionalism

+ Identifying,anticipating, and tackling technical issues - applies well rounded judgment decisions by considering trade-offs and risk mitigation option,identifyingand removing blockers to ensure delivery of project, working with key stakeholders to make project plan course corrections

**Minimum Qualification**

+ 12+ years of technical leadership experience in technology, preferably in

Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree out of which 8 + years product management experience with 5 + years of experience on software and/or developer platforms.

+ Mandatory full-stack experience with designing, developing, and integrating APIs to efficiently pull, push, and manage data across front-end frameworks such as Angular or React and back-end technologies like .NET, Node.js, or Python.

+ Experience managing and overseeing multiple on-going initiatives simultaneously

+ Must have a solid working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes and how tooperateunder structured project management

+ Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with proven experience in conducting workshops,facilitatingmeetings, delivering effective presentations, and simplifying complex technical topics for non-technical or business-oriented audiences.

+ Should have passion to coach/mentor team members

+ Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe)

+ Experienced in prioritizing the product backlog, defining specifications, aligning work with strategy, and serving as a product ambassador by sharing knowledge and addressing queries internally and externally.

+ MandatoryExperience with cloud services in **AWS or Azure** commonly used for data engineering, such as S3, EC2, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, Azure Data Lake, Synapse, or Azure Functions.

+ Advanced experience with both **SQL and NoSQL databases** , including query authoring, datamodeling, and hands-on familiarity with a wide range of database systems.

+ Experience in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies to prevent recurrence and ensure project stability

**Preferred Qualification**

+ Experience deploying technology or services with large enterprise or global customers and the desire for continuous learning and growth

+ You are enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peers

+ Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models

+ Demonstrable deep experience in rethinking/reimagining existing service/application architecture as it is migrated to cloud.

This includes services de-composition, security,leveragingnative services,resiliencyand observability.

+ Deep understanding and experience in one of the public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) native services

+ Experience with delivery of cloud infrastructure automation,DevOpsand CI/CD

+ Havingleada team of AI/ ML engineers will be an added advantage
