<p><p><b>Position : </b>Technical Support Engineer.<br/><br/><b>Job Summary :</b><br/><br/>We are a fast growing Managed Service Provider with some of the leading Global Enterprises/Telecom Service Providers as our clients.<br/><br/>We are in the process of expanding our India Operations and looking for experienced and committed Network/System Engineers to be part of our Support Team.<br/><br/>BE /BSc /Diploma engineers with minimum 3 to 5 years of experience into Network and System Support.<br/><br/>Very good Understanding of TCP/IP and troubleshooting of Network Connectivity.

Experience with routers, switches and security devices.<br/><br/><b>Role & Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>If experienced in routing and switching the candidate should possess skills in the areas of troubleshooting enterprise networks with the following technologies :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Routing Static routes, EIGRP, BGP and OSPF.<br/><br/>- Switching STP, UDLD, ARP, VTP, EtherChannels.<br/><br/>- IP Addressing & Subnetting.<br/><br/>- WAN MPLS, SDN circuits and interface related issues such as QoS, errors, discards, etc.<br/><br/>- Firewall , Access list , Stateful Inspection, NAT.<br/><br/>- VPN, Tunneling.<br/><br/>- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of ITIL practices and process is required.<br/><br/>- Strong research, investigation, and evaluation skills, with a structured approach to problem-solving.<br/><br/>- Very good Understanding of Server technologies, Server OS, Database & Applications.<br/><br/>- Experience with Windows Server OS, Linux.<br/><br/>- Experience in supporting Vmware , Storage etc.<br/><br/>- Good knowledge on DNS, DHCP, Filesystems etc.<br/><br/>- Effective skills and experience analyzing technology behavior and issue resolution.<br/><br/>- Liaise with TAC, vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution-ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment that includes a global focus.<br/><br/>- Experience using Trouble-ticketing tools such as Servicenow/remedy for handling trouble tickets.<br/><br/><b>Other Requirements :</b><br/><br/>- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.<br/><br/>- Excellent interpersonal skills and should be a team player.<br/><br/>- Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.<br/><br/>- Strong technology background is required.<br/><br/>- Aptitude to acquire new technology and concepts quickly.<br/><br/>- Ready to work on rotational shifts (24x7).<br/><br/><b>Job Location :</b> Bangalore.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
