<p><b>Role :</b> Software Developer with Networking Protocols<br/><br/><b>It is for our Techstar ODC project.</b><br/><br/><b style="background-color: inherit;">Exp : </b>5 - 10 yrs & 10 - 15 yrs<br/><br/><b style="background-color: inherit;">Openings : </b>4<br/><br/><b>Work Location : </b>Chennai <br/><br/><b>Interview Mode : </b>2 Virtual interviews + 3rd F2F <br/><br/><b>F2F Interview locations : </b>Chennai & Hyderabad<br/><br/><b>Mode of position : </b>Fulltime & Permanent with Techstar<br/><br/><b>Job Description :</b><br/><br/>- Developing new Features and defect fixes in the Networking TCPIP stack<br/><br/>- Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software, including operating systems, compliers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet related tools.<br/><br/>- Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.<br/><br/>- Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.<br/><br/>- Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.<br/><br/>- Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue and Skills :</b></p><p><br/>- C / C++ or Python </p><br/>- Networking, TCP/IP Protocols<br/><br/>- Using software systems design tools and languages.<br/><br/><p></p><p>- Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.<br/><br/>- Designing software systems running on multiple platform types.<br/><br/>- Software systems testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.<br/><br/>- Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options.<br/><br/>- It is a IC (Individual Contribution) role<br/><br/>- 5+ years of software development experience.
(2-5 years for a junior engineer)<br/><br/>- possess excellent proficiency with Python.<br/><br/>- Experience writing Integration and Unit tests with Python.<br/><br/>- Show previous experience developing Python CLIs and Python back ends to web UI/RESTful APIs.<br/><br/>- Networking knowledge in Open Networking, Ethernet switching, routing.<br/><br/>- Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills.<br/><br/>- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and systems.<br/><br/>- Work with various protocols and interfaces to ensure seamless integration and functionality.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in Python code.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.<br/><br/>- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in software development.<br/><br/>- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Python programming and Skills :</b></p><br/>- L2/L3 protocol development with Python programming<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of protocols and interfaces.<br/><br/>- Experience with debugging and performance tuning in Python.<br/><br/>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Python programming<br/><br/>- Primary : L2 Protocols (VLAN, STP), L3 routing Protocols(OSPF) - Any one of the L2 / L3 Protocols<br/><br/>- Secondary : BGP, Multicast, QoS, IXIA tool.<br/><br/>- C++ OR Java - OOPS concepts,<br/><br/>- Multithreading ,IPC, Socket Programming,<br/><br/>- Network Management NMS, EMS java<br/><br/>- SNMP, netconf, yang, cli, Confid <br/><br/>- Ansible<br/><br/>- Linux<br/><br/>- System Programming<br/><br/>- Linux system programming<br/><br/>Please be informed : Who can join Immediate - Max 30 days apply.<br/><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
