<p><p><b>Experience : </b>8-10.</p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking an L3 DB profiles with Expertise in MS SQL and knowledge of Oracle would be an added Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Database Administration : Manage and maintain SQL Server databases along with lower versions, including installation, configuration, and upgradesmigrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Performance Tuning : Optimize database performance through query tuning, index management, and server configuration.<br/><br/></p><p>- SQL Replication : Implement and manage SQL replication, including transactional and snapshot replication, to ensure data consistency and availability.
Extensive experience with SQL replication technology is mandatory.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Azure Cloud : Utilize Azure Cloud services to deploy, manage, and optimize SQL databases in a cloud environment.
This includes Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and other related services.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Backup and Recovery : Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.<br/><br/></p><p>- Security Management : Implement and enforce database security policies, including user access control and encryption.<br/><br/></p><p>- Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor database performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to resolve problems promptly.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in writing automation scripts, building dashboards for proactive monitoring using PowerShell.</p><p>Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to get to the route of an issue points to consider :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, including memory structures and processes.</p><p><br/></p>- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases.<br/><br/></p><p>- In charge of developing and implementing database backups.<br/><br/></p><p>- Configure, administration and troubleshoot Oracle Dataguard for disaster recovery.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience of Oracle 10g,11g and 19c and above Database Administration on Unix and Windows distributed Platform.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, and Active Data Guard.<br/><br/></p><p>- Perform backup and recovery procedures using RMAN.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with performance monitoring and tuning tools.<br/><br/></p><p>- Support RMAN other export and import utilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Resolve locking conflicts/blocking and resource utilization.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience of database Up-Gradations from lower to higher versions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience of database Cross Platform Migrations.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication and collaboration skills.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
