<p><b>Role Overview :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking a Tekla API Developer to join our engineering team in Bengaluru.
This role involves developing custom solutions using Tekla Open API, integrating Tekla Structures with other software systems, and enhancing engineering workflows.
You will work closely with structural engineers and detailers to streamline processes, ensure software compatibility, and provide ongoing technical support.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>Tekla API Development : </p><p><br/></p><p>- Develop and implement custom applications, plugins, and tools using Tekla Open API, C#, and .NET.</p><p><br/>- Automate repetitive tasks and optimize detailing workflows within Tekla Structures.<br/><br/>Integration and Workflow Enhancement :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Integrate Tekla Structures with ERP, BIM, or other engineering software platforms.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and deliver software-based solutions.<br/><br/>Technical Support and Documentation :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Provide ongoing support to engineers and detailers regarding API tools and integrations.<br/><br/>- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user guides and process manuals.<br/><br/></p><p>Quality and Debugging :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Test and debug custom applications to ensure reliability, performance, and accuracy.<br/><br/>- Troubleshoot API-related issues and provide timely resolutions.<br/><br/>Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Work with project managers, engineers, and IT teams to understand technical requirements.<br/><br/>- Share best practices, mentor junior team members (if required), and ensure alignment with organizational and Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>Mandatory : <br/><br/>- Proficiency in Tekla Open API, C#, and .NET framework<br/><br/>- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills<br/><br/>- Experience in software integration and workflow improvement<br/><br/>- Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation<br/><br/>- Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br/><br/>- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field<br/><br/><b>Preferred : </b><br/><br/>- Experience in structural design or steel detailing<br/><br/>- Familiarity with BIM processes and industry-standard design workflows<br/><br/></p><p class=""><b>What We Offer :</b></p><p class=""><br/></p><p class="">- Opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects in structural engineering software.</p><p class=""><br/>- Collaborative work environment with exposure to cutting-edge technologies.<br/><br/>- Competitive compensation and benefits.<br/><br/>- Professional development and growth opportunities.</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
