<p><br/><p>Job Title : Teradata Developer</p><p><br/></p><p>Experience : 4+ years</p><p><br/></p><p>Location - Bengaluru / Gurgaon / Hyderabad (Hybrid)</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities :</p><p><br/> </p><p>Database Design & Development :</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical database structures for data warehousing solutions using Teradata.</p><p><br/> </p><p>ETL Development & Optimization :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Teradata environment.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Optimize ETL workflows to improve performance and ensure data accuracy.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Implement best practices for data indexing, partitioning, and parallelism within Teradata.</p><p><br/> </p><p>Data Integration :</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Integrate data from various sources and systems into the Teradata platform.</p><p><br/> </p><p>Data Warehousing & Reporting :</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Develop and maintain data warehouse structures, ensuring effective data management and accessibility.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Monitor the performance of Teradata systems and recommend Skills & Qualifications :</p><p><br/> </p><p>- 4+years of experience in data engineering or Teradata development.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Proficiency in Teradata SQL, Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, TPT),</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Requires better understanding of Teradata indexing strategies and usage of it.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Requires deeper understanding of Teradata architecture and concepts</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Experience with ETL tools (e.g, DataStage) and data integration.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Strong knowledge of data modeling (Star schema, Snowflake schema).</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large data sets.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</p><p><br/> </p><p>- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.</p><p></p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
