About the Role: The Senior Manager, PMO - Operations will be a pivotal strategic and operational partner to the Head of Operations.

This role is responsible for establishing and running the Program Management Office (PMO), driving strategic initiative execution, ensuring governance across all major operational projects, and providing data-driven insights to the executive leadership team Duties and Responsibilities: - Strategic Governance & Execution - Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire Operations project portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, dependency mapping, and risk management to ensure alignment with organizational goals and business impact. - Executive Reporting: Design and deliver executive-level dashboards and status reports for the CXO and executive team (C-suite), highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and opportunities across the Operations portfolio. - Budget Management: Monitor and track program budgets, ensuring all initiatives are executed within financial constraints and deliver the expected return on investment (ROI). Strategic Alignment: Work directly with the CXO to translate the Operations vertical's strategy into a defined portfolio of projects, programs, and initiatives - Process & Standards - PMO Framework: Establish, document, and champion a consistent set of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall) tailored to the needs of the Operations organization. - Risk & Change Management: Implement robust risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution processes.

Drive effective Organizational Change Management (OCM) for major transformations impacting operational teams. - Quality Assurance: Conduct regular project and program health checks, quality gate reviews, and post-implementation reviews to ensure successful outcomes and continuous process improvement. - Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership - Program Leadership: Directly manage a small portfolio of the most critical, high-impact operational programs as a hands-on Program Manager. - Mentorship: Coach and mentor Operations project managers, project leads, and team members on PMO methodologies and execution best practices. - Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the Operations leadership team and other verticals (e.g., Product, Engineering, Finance, Sales) to manage dependencies and drive cross-functional Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Computer Science, or a related field. - Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in Project Management, Program Management, or PMO leadership, with a significant portion of that time spent in a product-based technology company. - Executive Presence: Proven track record of working directly with and reporting to C-suite executives, demonstrating excellent presentation and communication skills. - Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Operations functions in a technology context (e.g., Customer Support, Technical Operations, Cloud/Infrastructure Management, and internal process optimization). - Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program/project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile certifications like CSM, SAFe). - Experience in a high-growth environment, rapidly scaling processes and governance. - Expert-level proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project, or a dedicated PPM tool).
