<p><p><b>About Us :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>The Wedding Company is India's largest wedding planning and fulfillment company, managing an annual GMV of $10M, and disrupting the $130bn market (4% of India's GDP).
The Wedding Company has raised a seed round from prominent investors like Arash Ferdowsi, Dropbox cofounder and Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, Wakefit cofounder.<br/><br/>We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer.
You will be responsible for architecting and developing end to end delivery of one or more products while collaborating effectively with across teams.
You will be joining a talented, collaborative team who is very passionate about solving this massive problem.
Based on your experience you may be leading a small team of Engineers.
Tech Stack (Backend) : Django, Python 3.x, LLD,HLD,Postgres,Mongo, Redis, Elasticsearch, AWS, GCP, Flask.</p><p> <br/><b>Job Description/ Responsibilities : </b> <br/><br/></p><p>- Good OO design skills and understanding of different System Design patterns.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, <br/>algorithms, and software design.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Minimum 2+ years of experience in backend development and infrastructure architecture <br/>with ability to handle the entire API design and development.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience designing highly interactive web applications with performance, scalability, <br/>accessibility, usability, design, and security in mind.
If you don't have all of these, that's ok, <br/>but be excited about learning the few you don't know.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Raise the bar on sustainable engineering by improving best practices, producing best in <br/>class of code, documentation, testing and monitoring.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational and no-sql <br/>databases.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with AWS/GCP is required.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with architectural trade-offs, applying synchronous and asynchronous design <br/>patterns, and delivering with speed while maintaining quality.
<br/><br/></p><p>- Bonus : Technical soundness on ML/AI would be a great plus.
