<p>Location : Bangalore</p><p><br/></p><p>Experience : 5-7 years </p><p><br/></p><p>Title : Information Technology Administrator </p><p><br/></p><p>Job Description : </p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for a seasoned IT Administrator to own and evolve our internal IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in systems, security, and cloud management, and thrives in fast-paced environments.
Youll be the go-to expert ensuring our tech environment is secure, scalable, and enables team productivity across functions.</p><p><br/></p><p>Key Responsibilities :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Oversee infrastructure-level security, including logging, alerting, and access control</p><p><br/></p><p>- Administer and monitor Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for infrastructure performance, uptime, logging, and alerting.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Enforce and maintain IT security best practices including 2FA, phishing mitigation, device compliance, and endpoint security.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Maintain strict access control and hygiene across all cloud platforms and tools, including regular audits to remove unauthorized or inactive accounts.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage the lifecycle of IT assets (laptops, monitors, peripherals, software licenses, etc.) across the company.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Conduct routine maintenance, software updates, and troubleshooting for both hardware and software systems.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Manage internal security reviews, tests, and roadmap follow-ups.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Oversee and optimize network and system security for both cloud and end-user environments.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Coordinate closely with teams like Engineering, HR, and Finance to align IT strategy with business needs.</p><p><br/></p><p>- (Nice to have) Drive IT automation initiatives and contribute to DevOps-related tasks.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Own end-to-end user onboarding/offboarding across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and other internal platforms.</p><p><br/></p><p>Basic Qualifications :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.</p><p><br/></p><p>- 5+ years of experience in IT administration, preferably within a tech-first or SaaS environment.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration and cloud infrastructure management (preferably GCP).</p><p><br/></p><p>- Solid grasp of domain and DNS management tools like Cloudflare.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Bash) and comfort with DevOps tools/workflows.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills.</p><p><br/></p><p>Preferred Qualifications :</p><p><br/></p><p>- Prior experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Deep understanding of security protocols, phishing prevention, and cloud cost optimization.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and handle multiple priorities efficiently</p> (ref:hirist.tech)
