<p><p><b>Position : </b> iOS Automation Tester<br/><br/><b>Experience : </b> 5+ Years<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Bangalore<br/><br/><b>Work Type : </b> Contract (6 Months, extendable), Remote</p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>Job Summary : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient iOS Automation Tester with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to join our remote contract team (6 months, extendable).</p><p><br/></p><p>This role demands mandatory hands-on expertise in Appium for iOS application testing and strong Java coding skills for developing robust automation frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>Experience in the OTT (Over-The-Top) media domain is a significant plus, as is knowledge of APM tools and proxy Responsibilities : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>iOS Automation Development : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive automation test scripts specifically for iOS applications using Appium.</p><p><br/></p><p>- Utilize hands-on coding skills in JAVA to build, maintain, and enhance scalable and stable automation frameworks.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensure high test coverage and reliability for all functional and regression test suites across various iOS devices and operating </p><p>system and Debugging : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Apply good technical knowledge of API testing concepts and tools to validate backend integrations of the mobile application.</p><p><br/></p>- Use tools like Charles Proxy to capture, analyze, and debug network traffic between the iOS app and backend services.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with developers and QA teams in an agile environment to troubleshoot failures and perform root cause and Domain Knowledge : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Gain and apply knowledge of OTT (Over-The-Top) domain specifics (e.g., streaming protocols, content delivery) to design domain-relevant tests.</p><p><br/></p>- Work with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) concepts or tools to ensure application performance meets standards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Maintain and report on test execution status, defects, and automation coverage : </b></p><p><b><br/></b></p><p><b>- Experience : </b> Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software testing and iOS Automation (Mandatory) : </b> Mandatory hands-on experience in iOS automation testing using Coding : </b> Strong hands-on coding skills in JAVA are Technical Skills : </b> Good working knowledge of API testing Skills : </b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Experience in the OTT domain (video streaming, media applications).</p><p><br/></p>- Experience with Charles Proxy (or Fiddler/Burp) for mobile network debugging.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools and concepts.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with CI/CD integration for mobile automation frameworks</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
