<p><p><b>Description:</b><br/><br/>About the Role:<br/><br/>We are looking for a Senior Golang Developer who is passionate about building high-performance, scalable backend systems.<br/><br/>As part of our engineering team, youll play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of our server-side architecture, APIs, and microservices.<br/><br/>You'll work on large-scale distributed systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and lead by example in adopting best practices in coding and DevOps.<br/><br/>This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to work on modern cloud-native technologies using Go.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><br/><br/>- Design and develop high-performance backend applications and microservices using Go (Golang).<br/><br/>- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, RPC services, and backend infrastructure components.<br/><br/>- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud-native environments.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.<br/><br/>- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following industry standards and best practices.<br/><br/>- Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to team knowledge sharing.<br/><br/>- Identify and resolve production issues, implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for critical services.<br/><br/>- Participate in system design discussions and influence architectural decisions.<br/><br/>- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills & Experience:</b><br/><br/>- Strong programming expertise in Go (Golang) minimum 3+ years hands-on.<br/><br/>- Solid understanding of concurrency, goroutines, and Go memory management.<br/><br/>- Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, gRPC, or GraphQL services.<br/><br/>- Experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, or message queues (e.g., Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and data structures.<br/><br/>- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying applications to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.<br/><br/>- Proficiency with Git and experience in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)<br/><br/>- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems in production</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
