<p><p><b>Position Overview :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Software Engineer to join our innovative engineering team.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud-based analytics applications deployed on our Kubernetes (AWS EKS) hosted Digital Network Platform (OPUS).
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about building scalable, high-performance solutions in the Life Sciences and Pharma supply chain domain.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities Design and Development : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Develop, test, and maintain analytics solutions leveraging modern frameworks and cloud platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.<br/><br/></p><p>- Build microservices-based architectures and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.<br/><br/><b>Cloud and Data Engineering : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Work with AWS cloud services including S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift, RDS, ElasticSearch, Kafka/Kinesis, SQS, and SNS.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement secure and scalable data processing and storage solutions.<br/><br/><p><b>Collaboration and Product Delivery : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Collaborate with domain experts, data scientists, architects, and product managers to transform business requirements into technical solutions.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.<br/><br/><b>Quality and Performance : </b><br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with QA teams to develop test strategies, perform code reviews, and ensure product reliability.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and compliance within the Life Sciences domain.<br/><br/><p><b>Innovation and Learning : </b></p><p><br/></p>- Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends in analytics, microservices, and cloud computing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Explore and integrate frameworks like Vert.x, RxJava, and GraphQL where applicable.<br/><br/><b>Required Skills and Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL with proven hands-on coding experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).<br/><br/></p><p>- Exposure to cloud-native solutions and distributed systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with frameworks such as Vert.x, RxJava, and GraphQL is an advantage.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong analytical skills with an ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative </p><p>environment.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; comfortable working in distributed teams </p><p>across geographies.<br/><br/><p><b>Education :</b></p><p><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
