<p><p><b>Job Title : </b> Xstore Consultant (Lead Developer)<br/><br/><b>Location : </b> Pune Hybrid 3 days a week (Considering Locals Only)<br/><br/><b>Job Type : </b> Full-time<br/><br/><b>Experience Level : </b> Lead<br/><br/><b>Experience minimum : </b> 8 Years<br/><br/><b>Position Summary : </b><br/><br/>We are seeking a highly experienced Xstore Consultant (Lead Developer) with expertise in Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions.
The candidate will lead development teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, and work closely with clients and stakeholders to design, build, and support enterprise-level POS solutions.
This role requires strong technical leadership, deep functional expertise in Oracle Xstore, and the ability to deliver solutions aligned with best practices and organizational standards.<br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/>- Understand requirements, create and review designs, validate architecture, and ensure high-quality service offerings to clients.<br/><br/>- Participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, and perform code and unit test plan reviews.<br/><br/>- Develop optimized, high-quality code deliverables while ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and processes.<br/><br/>- Drive coding best practices and ensure compliance across development activities.<br/><br/>- Act as a single point of contact for the project manager and customer to resolve process and technical issues in a timely manner.<br/><br/>- Participate in requirements sessions, remote workshops, and client meetings as needed.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with DevOps teams to align development with DevOps processes and propose process improvements.<br/><br/>- Lead and mentor the development team in implementing project deliverables.<br/><br/>- Ensure development activities are delivered on time with high quality and performance standards.<br/><br/><b>Educational Qualification : </b><br/><br/>B.E, B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.<br/><br/><b>Required Experience & Skills : </b><br/><br/>- 8+ years of overall IT experience.<br/><br/>- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Xstore POS.<br/><br/>- Strong expertise in designing and developing applications using Java/J2EE.<br/><br/>- In-depth understanding of Xstore POS core concepts and architecture.<br/><br/>- Proficient in configuration, customization, development, and support of Oracle Retail Xstore including Xadmin, Xcenter, Xenvironment, Xstore, and Xstore Office Cloud Service (V2324).<br/><br/>- Experience leading Xadmin configuration for optimized system performance.<br/><br/>- Expertise in designing inbound/outbound interfaces with comprehensive technical documentation.<br/><br/>- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.<br/><br/>- Strong foundation in systems analysis, design, architecture fundamentals, unit testing, and SDLC activities.<br/><br/>- Experience in API integrations (SOAP/RESTful/JSON).<br/><br/>- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.<br/><br/>- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business users and stakeholders.<br/><br/>- Ability to adapt to changing priorities quickly.<br/><br/>- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.<br/><br/>- Proficient in using and managing code repositories and build tools such as SVN, GIT, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.<br/><br/>- Experience managing a team of developers, ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of Xstore application DB schema (mandatory).<br/><br/><b>Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills : </b><br/><br/>- Basic understanding of DevOps tools and processes.<br/><br/>- Exposure to cloud environments and deployment practices.<br/><br/><b>Key Attributes : </b><br/><br/>- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide development teams.<br/><br/>- Customer-focused mindset with excellent collaboration and stakeholder management.<br/><br/>- Proactive approach to technical challenges and process improvements.<br/><br/>- Commitment to quality, performance, and delivery timelines<br/></p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
