<p></p><p><b>Description : </b> </p><p><br/></p><p>Management and staff in Tungsten Automation's Software Engineering job family help the company to build and improve new and/or existing software products and their applications that we sell to our customers.<br/><br/>The position of Sr. Software Engineer requires that appointees are capable of making independent technical decisions on assigned work.<br/><br/>Software Engineers should be capable of independently performing most, if not all, of the following tasks:<br/>- Contributing to product ideas and innovation.</p><p><br/>- Evaluating product roadmaps (working with Product Management, among other internal partners) to determine design and programming development requirements to meet customer needs (includes evaluating existing products and applications to enhance these and/or designing new products and applications).<br/><br/></p><p>- Conducting research, where appropriate and needed, to solve specific design problems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Creating product and/or applications architecture and design documentation to specify engineering development requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Writing/developing code for new, existing or enhanced software products and applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working with various internal partners (such as Quality Assurance) to test new or enhanced products and their applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participating in cross-functional build/configuration activities to ensure overall effective and efficient new or enhanced engineering design.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contributing to downstream business activities such as technical publications and other technical communications tool development to ensure streamlined and effective end-user use of Tungsten Automation's software products and their applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ensuring new or updated releases are completed on-time, on-target, on-budget and without compromise to quality.<br/><br/></p><p>- Supporting other internal and external partners/stakeholders/customers, as and when appropriate, in responding to technical inquiries.<br/><br/></p><p>- Staying abreast of industry and field developments; remaining current in the latest technologies and functionalities, as well as ever-evolving needs of customers and their customers.<br/><br/>While the job description describes what is anticipated as the requirements of the position, the job requirements are subject to change based upon any changing needs and requirements of the business.</p><br/><p><b>Required Skills :</b> </p><p><br/></p><p>We are looking for a highly talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer.<br/><br/>You will have the opportunity to work with other developers and senior engineers to :<br/><br/></p><p>- Deliver high-quality solutions using technologies such as .NET, C#, WPF, and more.<br/><br/></p><p>- Design and develop high-quality web and desktop applications and robust backend services/APIs using .NET and C#.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in code reviews and sprint ceremonies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Help maintain and support existing systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement and debug complex features.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to the architecture of new and existing systems.<br/><br/></p><p>- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.</p><br/><p><b>Mandatory Skills :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- 5-8 years of industry experience as a software engineer building enterprise-level applications.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong experience with programming in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Angular, and WPF.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience with WCF, C++/COM and SQL Server is a plus.</p><br/><p><b>Good To Have :</b><br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of AWS/Azure cloud, ExtJS, installers, and TFS/Jira will be beneficial.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) implementations, along with the basic knowledge to integrate LLMs with enterprise applications using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or API Management.<br/><br/></p><p>- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, build and release management, and automated testing.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience deploying ML models and LLM-based solutions on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights) for AI and DevOps workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- Understanding of secure AI development practices and other OWASP vulnerabilities.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) within Azure environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.<br/><br/></p><p>- Passion for learning new technologies and adapting to changing business needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of agile principles and Scrum methodology.</p><br/><p><b>Required Experience :</b> </p><p><br/></p><p>- Candidates for this position should hold the following qualifications, have the following experience, and be able to demonstrate the following competencies to be considered as a suitable applicant.<br/><br/>- Please note that except where specified as preferred, or as a plus, all points listed below are considered minimum requirements.<br/><br/></p><p>- Bachelors Degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.<br/><br/></p><p>- Typically has 5-7 years relevant technical experience.<br/><br/></p><p>- Has a minimum of 1 or more years previous experience with similar product lines or subject areas as Tungsten Automation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently on larger or more complex departmental assignments.</p><br/><p>- Tungsten Automation is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.</p><br/><p></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
