The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Playwright, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured, along with solid programming knowledge in Java and exposure to CI/CD :</b></p><br/><p>- Evaluate and enhance the existing Playwright automation framework to improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability.</p><br/><p>- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright, TestNG, and Cucumber.</p><br/><p>- Build and integrate API automation using Rest Assured and Postman.</p><br/><p>- Develop modular, reusable, and high-performance automation components.</p><br/><p>- Refactor and optimize existing test scripts for improved readability and performance.</p><br/><p>- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure complete test coverage and efficient defect triage.</p><br/><p>- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or equivalent) for continuous testing and nightly regression runs.</p><br/><p>- Proactively identify gaps in testing and propose improvements in QA processes and tools.</p><br/><p>- Mentor and guide QA team members on best automation practices and framework enhancements.</p><br/><p>- Work in Agile/Scrum environments, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.</p><br/><p>- Demonstrate basic understanding of DevOps concepts and deployment workflows.</p><br/><p><b>Requirements :</b></p><br/><p>- 5- 10 years of professional experience in test automation development.</p><br/><p>- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.</p><br/><p>- Proficiency in Java programming.</p><br/><p>- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.</p><br/><p>- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.</p><br/><p>- Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail.</p><br/><p>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.</p><br/><p>- Experience working in Agile environments.</p><br/><p><b>Good to Have :</b></p><br/><p>- Exposure to cloud-based automation execution (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).</p><br/><p>- Understanding of performance or security testing.</p><br/><p>- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
