                         Job Title: Agile and DevOps Champion SAP
Location: India (with global responsibilities)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the transformation of SAP delivery models from waterfall to Agile approaches
- Champion the adoption of DevOps principles in SAP AMS environments, driving continuous integration, automated testing, and faster release cycles
- Design and implement frameworks for Agile and DevOps across different SAP project types (implementation, AMS, cloud transformations)
- Guide SAP project and support teams in adopting Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and hybrid Agile-Waterfall models
- Evaluate, implement, and scale supporting tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, collaboration platforms)
- Drive change management initiatives to embed new ways of working across people, processes, and tools
- Develop and deliver enablement plans, including training programs, knowledge sharing, and ongoing coaching for teams
- Define metrics and KPIs to measure adoption, maturity, and business impact of Agile and DevOps practices
- Collaborate with SAP program managers, architects, and delivery leadership to align transformation initiatives with business and technology goals
- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert for modern delivery practices within the SAP ecosystem
- Engage with SAP product teams, industry forums, and partners to stay current on relevant trends and best practices
- Provide hands-on guidance in restructuring delivery governance, processes, and structures to support Agile & DevOps adoption
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of SAP delivery and program management experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading Agile transformations for SAP project environments
- Proven track record of transforming traditional AMS delivery to DevOps models
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, test automation, release management)
- Working knowledge of modern toolchains such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Selenium, etc.
- Strong background in change management principles and stakeholder management
- SAP Activate methodology familiarity
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer capabilities
- Ability to engage with senior leadership, build trust, and influence across a large matrix organization
