<p><p><b>About the job :</b><br/><br/>Location : Bengaluru<br/><br/>Experience : 2 to 3 Years<br/><br/><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/>We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team.<br/><br/> Youll play a key role in building and maintaining robust deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure for our web applications.<br/><br/> This is a hands-on role where youll drive automation, reliability, scalability, and security across our systems.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities :</b><br/><br/>- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for React and Django applications.<br/><br/>- Manage and provision scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS (or similar platforms).<br/><br/>- Automate infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.<br/><br/>- Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.<br/><br/>- Set up and maintain NGINX, Gunicorn, and other services to serve Django apps reliably.<br/><br/>- Monitor performance and ensure availability of production environments using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK stack.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with developers to streamline builds, tests, and deployments.<br/><br/>- Handle backup, logging, alerting, and incident response processes.<br/><br/>- Apply security best practices across systems and deployments.<br/><br/><b>Must-Have Skills :</b><br/><br/>- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.<br/><br/>- Solid experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, ECS/EKS, etc.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).<br/><br/>- Experience with React and Django deployment workflows.<br/><br/>- Familiarity with web servers like NGINX, Gunicorn, and load balancers.<br/><br/>- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).<br/><br/>- Experience with Git, version control, and branching strategies.<br/><br/>- Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and infrastructure monitoring.<br/><br/><b>Good to Have :</b><br/><br/>- Experience managing PostgreSQL, Redis, and other services used with Django.<br/><br/>- Knowledge of serverless components (e., AWS Lambda, CloudFront, SQS).<br/><br/>- Exposure to secrets management (e., AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault).<br/><br/>- AWS/GCP certification or Kubernetes certification is a plus.<br/><br/>- Automation/testing tools for full-stack applications.<br/><br/>- Exposure to other frameworks/languages (Node.js, Go, etc.<br/><br/><b>Certification :</b> AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
