<p><p><b>About the Role :</b><br/><br/></p><p>We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tableau Developer to join our analytics team.<br/>The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deliver advanced data visualization solutions using </p><p>Tableau to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.<br/><br/></p><p>You will work closely with business users, data engineers, and analysts to understand complex data requirements and translate them into interactive, insightful, and user-friendly dashboards and Responsibilities :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations tailored to business needs.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for data visualization.<br/><br/></p><p>- Translate complex data sets into intuitive and actionable visual insights.<br/><br/></p><p>- Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance, usability, and responsiveness.<br/><br/></p><p>- Develop advanced calculations, parameters, filters, sets, and table calculations using Tableau.<br/><br/></p><p>- Integrate Tableau with various data sources including relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle), cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift), and big data platforms.<br/><br/></p><p>- Conduct data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of data in dashboards.<br/><br/></p><p>- Mentor and guide junior Tableau developers on best practices and development techniques.<br/><br/></p><p>- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, tools, and industry best practices.<br/><br/></p><p>- Assist in creating documentation, training materials, and user guides for dashboards and reports.<br/><br/></p><p>- Work closely with the data engineering team to streamline ETL processes and data pipelines.<br/><br/></p><p>- Implement data governance and security best practices within Tableau environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to continuous Skills & Qualifications :</b></p><p><br/></p>- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- 5+ years of professional experience as a Tableau Developer or Data Visualization Specialist.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficient in SQL for querying and manipulating data from various databases.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience designing data models and building efficient Tableau data sources.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows.<br/><br/></p><p>- Ability to perform complex calculations, blending, and use of parameters in Tableau.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R is a plus.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of other BI tools (Power BI, QlikView) is an advantage.<br/><br/></p><p>- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience working in Agile teams and following software development best practices</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
